These are just a few of the ways coworkers describe this invaluable member of our team. Uni Camacho joined Jesse Torres Boxing Club 11 years ago with the vision and drive to improve upon our Non Profit Organization, and focuses on developing the organization with compassion and integrity.

HOW DID YOU BECOME INVOLVED WITH JTLBC? 

I first got involved with JTLBC volunteering in 2007, saw a need in the community and joined the team.

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THIS ORGANIZATION?
I am the current president of the board and the condition coach on sight. Also a certified Rock Steady Coach.  My role is to assure all programs are running smoothly and exceptionally - also known as director of operations!

HOW HAS WORKING WITH JTLBC IMPACTED YOU?

Being part of this organization has changed my life. It has allowed me to find my purpose by engaging in this avenue and using boxing as a tool to understand our youth.  This program helped me gain clarity on how to fully  address the needs of our brothers and sisters whose voices are not fully being heard.

 Something most people don't know about me is that I am going back to school to become obtain a Doctorate's degree in Theology.
